Last night we were building forts for the kids in the living room and we were all sitting under one doing sounds of animals and such. I was barking like a dog and Chance got up with a very worried look on his face, "doggy? no doggy?" It was kind of funny because he was looking straight at me but thought that a real dog was going to come in our fort. It took a little bit for him to join in on different animal sounds and forget about the "doggy." Then after a little bit Phil remembered doing this (below) as a kid. You take a sheet and drape one end of a sheet over a box fan with books on top so that the sheet doesn't fall. Then you take more books and lay them around the outside of the sheet near the edges, crawl in, and turn the fan on. And there ya have it! A nice little tunnel to crawl in. It's actually pretty neat and the kids loved it!

I was trying to get the perfect picture so that you could see just how big it was in there but this was all I could catch.

After a couple hours of making forts and having fun we made the kids a bedtime snack. Peanut butter on toast with banana and chocolate milk. The whole while listening to Esmie chat away about anything and everything! She has a big personality and is always making us laugh.

Chance really only ate the bananas. But still thought it was pretty cool.

That tired us all out. The kids went to bed pretty easy and then I started on the clean laundry thats been sitting in our room for more than a few days. I love spending time together, it's so special.
I'm looking forward to taking a little day trip to Bismarck this weekend now that we can all fit in one vehicle. We have a mini van now and we have been enjoying it a lot!!
After naps today I am going to take the kids to the park again. Why not go to the park on these beautiful days? Before it turns like 100* and can barely walk from the house to the car! Enjoy your Thursday!
