Happy First Birthday Esmie!

(I'm actually late on posting this, her birthday was yesterday)

Es, you are growing up so fast! Last year at this time you were our baby and now this year you are a big sister! Daddy and I have enjoyed this first year, watching you smile for the first time, all of those facial expressions all newborns have, you rolling over the for first time, eating your first bowl of cereal, learning how to sit up, learning how to crawl, how to stand, hearing you say 'mama' and 'daddy'. There are so many things you have learned this far in your life with so much more ahead of you.
You are a wee bit dramatic at times and I'm sure you'll throw a few tantrums here and there but that's how all kids are at some point right? We love when you give Chance kisses, you'll be such a great big sister, and a big help once you start walking. Mommy and Daddy were so proud of you when you took your first steps! Soon, you'll just up and take off.
We love you from the bottom of our hearts and can't believe you are already one year old!
